About the Role
Rabobank is seeking a highly skilled and customer focused (Technical) Business Analyst User Engagement and Support with a proactive mindset and strategic planning abilities to join our support engineering team, Moon.
Your mission? To transform our support model from a reactive, ad-hoc approach to a proactive, solutions-driven strategy that maximizes user engagement and impact.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of enabling our users—data scientists, machine learning engineers, and analytics teams—to make the most of the Analytics Platform. With your expertise, you’ll identify improvement opportunities, streamline support processes, and reduce costs while driving innovation and enhancing functionality for both users and platform engineering teams.

What You'll Do
- Shape the Future: Transition our support team to a proactive, solutions-oriented model that enhances user engagement with the platform.
- Build a User Community: Build and grow our One!Lab user panel to conduct regular assessments of user feedback to drive continuous optimization of the platform and user experience.
- Improve Customer Interaction and CX: Identify improvement opportunities for both user support processes and the Analytics Platform itself, by mapping user journeys and leveraging insights from user interactions.
- Collaborate and Improve: Work with the Product Managers of the Analytics Platform engineering teams to understand user needs and translate these to feature and PBI’s. Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality, performance and effectiveness of engineering initiatives.
- Lead Technical Transformation: Spearhead the transition of our support engineering model by implementing technical strategies that improve system costs, scalability, and user engagement.
- Monitor and Improve Performance: Regularly assess technical performance, analyse user behaviour and costs by identifying important KPIs and helping the team steer on these.
- Demo our Platform: Showcase our platform and services to new potential users by giving demo’s.
- Empower Users with Your Data Engineering/ ML Knowledge: Guide users in leveraging analytics tools and techniques to overcome challenges and maximize platform benefits based on your data engineering knowledge.
What You'll Bring
- A degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- At least 5 years of experience in consultancy, with a commercial mindset that focuses on improvements and user impact.
- Hands-on technical expertise with tools like Databricks, Data Iku, Python, Azure Machine Learning and Terraform.
- Good knowledge of the cloud (preferably Microsoft Azure) and are familiar with cloud cost models, service models, the various cloud resources, and contracts.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical concepts and non-technical stakeholders.
- A data-driven, analytical approach with a passion for process improvement.
- Demonstrated technical experience in customer engagement or a previously customer facing function.
- A teamplayer with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to deliver results on time and with precision.

What we offer
This role will either be in scale 8 or scale 9 depending on experience.
To be considered for this position, you must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We are unable to consider candidates requiring relocation from another country.
