Responsibilities
- Develop ClickHouse training courses for both on-demand and instructor-led formats, including slides, videos, and hands-on labs
- Design new courses addressing various personas and use cases in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams
- Collaborate with other Curriculum Developers to produce top-quality on-demand training for ClickHouse Academy
- Assist with virtual instructor-led training sessions
- Contribute to writing and deploying certification exams for the ClickHouse Certification program
Requirements
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to complete projects in a fast-paced startup environment
- Quick learner of new technologies
- Proven experience creating curriculum for highly technical audiences such as software engineers and database developers
- Proficiency with SQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, and big data
- High responsibility, ownership, and accountability
Bonus Points
- 5+ years in curriculum development focused on databases and/or distributed systems
- Experience with the ClickHouse database
- Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience building software certification exams
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, support, product, and development teams
- Technical degree (e.g., Computer Science or related field)
