Details

NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. Today NVIDIA is tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. We are bringing artificial intelligence to live media and are seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) to build demos in Linux and Windows, develop media pipelines, and evangelize AI for live media.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build high-performance software demos from early-stage product snapshots and cutting-edge SDKs; transform abstract technical capabilities into concrete, repeatable, visually compelling workflows.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end media pipelines from ingest to inference to output using NVIDIA’s stack (AI for Media, Holoscan for Media, Blueprints, NIMs, SDKs and NMOS Containers).
  • Technical evangelism: travel to 6–10 industry tradeshows annually, set up complex demo rigs, present technical deep-dives to multi-level audiences, and field architectural questions from industry leaders.
  • Partner with product management to identify feature gaps or performance bottlenecks and provide actionable feedback to influence product roadmap.
  • Onsite collaboration: engage daily with product management and core engineering teams at HQ. This is an onsite role (minimum 4 days/week).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of media industry experience, specifically broadcast or content creation.
  • Strong Linux command-line mastery; comfortable debugging build issues, managing containers, and navigating complex environments.
  • Experience with NVIDIA stack technologies (e.g., CUDA, TensorRT, Rivermax) and deploying AI models (LLMs, VLMs, audio enhancement, or generative AI) in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of professional media workflows (content creation, virtual production, broadcast, post-production, or real-time graphics). Familiarity with standards such as SMPTE ST 2110, RTP, and production formats (ProRes, EXR) is a significant plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to determine and address root cause engineering problems.
  • Excellent communication: able to distill complex technical architecture into clear narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Strong AI interest and experience.
  • Background in developing software for live production, virtual production, or VFX pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ for rapid prototyping and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrable experience managing trade show technical environments (rack setups, hardware troubleshooting, on-site networking).

Compensation & Additional Info

  • Base salary ranges by level:
    • Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD
    • Level 5: 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
  • Applications accepted at least until June 1, 2026.
  • NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes and is an equal opportunity employer.
