Details
Bloomberg’s CTO Office is the future-looking technical and product arm of Bloomberg L.P. We envision, design, and prototype the next generation infrastructure, hardware, and applications for the Bloomberg Terminal. Our projects include machine learning-powered products, cloud computing infrastructure and strategy, open source stewardship, generative AI, and more.
Responsibilities
- Shape and execute the vision and roadmap for the Generative AI application development lifecycle.
- Focus on the end-to-end user experience and share ownership of the product roadmap for AI Platforms.
- Build new features, capabilities, and integrations to streamline the GenAI developer workflow around tools, agents, evaluation, and more.
- Partner closely with AI product and engineering teams to accelerate critical projects.
- Interact with internal users and diverse partners to understand workflows and technical requirements.
- Foster collaboration with Engineering and UX counterparts; prioritize, plan, and make decisions while managing resources effectively.
- Take initiative, be proactive and inclusive, innovate, advocate, and align product work with business priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical product management.
- Experience working with developer teams and productionizing AI or other data-intensive applications.
- Breadth of knowledge or familiarity with GenAI platforms, MLOps platforms, and AI toolkits.
- Deep understanding of software development best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with engineers, UX, subject matter experts, other product managers, and senior management.
- Product-driven focus and track record of shaping business strategy and roadmaps for technical products.
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, HCI, AI, or similar field of study, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with GenAI technologies like MCP, A2A, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Pydantic AI, OpenAI APIs and SDKs.
- Applied experience with AI, Machine Learning, and familiarity with large language models and their operational requirements.
- Experience with Distributed Systems, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Open source involvement or community presence.
Compensation
Salary Range: 140000 - 295000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
This referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
