Consensys is a leading blockchain and web3 software company founded by Joe Lubin, a co-founder of Ethereum. Since 2014, the company has driven innovation within the web3 ecosystem through products such as MetaMask, Infura, Linea, Diligence, and the NFT toolkit Phosphor.

Linea is a zkEVM Layer-2 blockchain powered by Consensys, designed to scale Ethereum while preserving its security and decentralization. Launched in July 2023, it supports over $370M in Total Value Locked and 250M transactions processed, making it the largest zkEVM blockchain by total value secured (excluding tokens).

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of technical personas to onboard and engage them with decentralized networks.
• Craft compelling, technically accurate messaging for rollup technologies, developer tooling, and ecosystem features.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for product releases and protocol upgrades.
• Create marketing collateral including product one-pagers, webpages, technical blogs, videos, and slide decks.
• Analyze competitive landscape in Layer 2 and Ethereum ecosystems to inform pricing and messaging.
• Collaborate with Developer Relations and ecosystem teams to engage developers through documentation, workshops, and events.
• Provide sales and business development teams with training and resources.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or solutions engineering, preferably in crypto, cloud, or infrastructure.
• Proven ability to understand and engage technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of Ethereum, Layer 2 scaling (Optimistic and ZK rollups), and developer tooling.
• Skilled at crafting positioning, messaging, and thought leadership content.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear messaging.
• Track record of launching and growing technical products or protocols.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional remote teams.

Bonus Points

• Active contributor in Ethereum or other Web3 ecosystems.
• Experience at Layer 1 or Layer 2 protocols, crypto wallets, or DeFi projects.
• Familiar with tools like Dune, Etherscan, Hardhat, Foundry.
• Experience with technical writing or open-source contributions.
