Details
NVIDIA's Finance AI & Data Science team is seeking a Technical Project Manager to drive complex business-facing projects to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet business and technical requirements. The role requires connecting technical solutions to finance/business problems and working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Leverage a strong understanding of finance and business processes to connect technical solutions to meaningful business problems and proactively identify gaps.
- Build lasting connections and relationships across NVIDIA and with external partners; manage project communications with different functions and levels (finance leadership, IT, product teams, vendors).
- Track requirements and owners across multiple simultaneous projects; follow up on critical action items to meet tight deadlines and raise issues when necessary.
- Understand high- and low-level technical architecture of projects including AI, machine learning, data engineering, automation, application, and security elements; facilitate debates and drive decisions on appropriate solutions.
- Engage directly with technology, keeping current with AI and data science and applying that knowledge to projects.
Requirements
- BS/MS or equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience using technology to solve business problems (examples: data science, automation, BI, AI), including at least 3 years of technical project management.
- Superb communication and organizational skills; ability to guide teams toward goals in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
Preferred / Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with business-facing technical work and an intuitive understanding of project failure points.
- Experience in corporate/strategic finance roles (FP&A, M&A, treasury) or adjacent areas.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications.
Compensation & Other Details
- Base salary ranges provided by level:
- Level 3: 152,000 USD - 230,000 USD
- Level 4: 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD
