Details
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. The team is a rapidly growing group of researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customer-specific enablement programs: workshops, office hours, "build your first agent" labs, and role-based curricula for engineering, data, platform, security, and knowledge-worker audiences.
- Drive deep adoption of proprietary Claude capabilities (subagents, hooks, MCP servers, headless mode, managed settings) tailored to customers' stacks, repos, and workflows (CI/CD, IDE integration, source control, secure coding, agentic pipelines).
- Enable and train champions and AI Center of Excellence leads inside customer organizations to scale adoption.
- Support strategic pilots with pre-sales technical enablement: partner with Account Executives, Applied AI, and customer engineering leads; scope pilots; run enablement; instrument success criteria and carry pilot context into post-sale.
- Design and run on-site and virtual hackathons and builder events: themes, judging rubrics, starter kits, prize structures, and post-event follow-through.
- Build production-quality demo apps, reference architectures, and code samples on the Claude Developer Platform, Claude Code, and Claude Enterprise (including Cowork); create tutorials, blog posts, recorded walkthroughs, and internal cookbooks.
- Deliver keynotes, technical talks, and live-coded demos for customer engineering organizations and Anthropic events; run AMA sessions and engage on architecture, prompting, agent design, evaluation, developer workflow, and limitations of AI coding tools.
- Partner across Sales, Applied AI, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to sequence engagements, bring back field signal, and contribute to team playbooks.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architecture, sales engineering, developer relations, or technical consulting.
- Hands-on builder credibility: experience as a software engineer, founder, solutions engineer, developer advocate, or Solutions Architect with shipped code that others depend on.
- Experience building with LLMs and agentic AI; hands-on experience using Claude Code, the Claude Developer Platform, and Cowork is expected (use these products as core infrastructure in your work).
- Ability to design and deliver technical talks, workshops, and training to engineering audiences (platform engineers, ML/AI teams, security-minded enterprise architects).
- Pilot and evaluation experience in an enterprise setting: scoping, enablement, and handling security/admin/scale conversations.
- Strong written and visual communication: tutorials, decks, code comments, and internal/external content creation.
- Project management instincts: run multi-week activation plans or pilots with defined success metrics.
- Willingness to travel regularly for on-site enablement, pilots, hackathons, and customer events; some evenings and weekends around major events.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Required field of study: a field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $180,000 - $365,000 USD
Logistics
- Minimum years of experience: correlates with internal job level requirements for the position.
- Location-based hybrid policy: expected to be in one of Anthropic's offices at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more office time.
- Visa sponsorship: Anthropic states they do sponsor visas and retain an immigration lawyer to help, though sponsorship is not guaranteed for every role/candidate.
- The role focuses on customer-facing technical enablement (pre- and post-sale) rather than technical implementation (implementation work resides with Implementation Specialists).
