Details
Our Workforce Intelligence team is responsible for providing high-quality data, reports, and analytics to deliver key insights to our business and support decision making.
You're collaborative, analytical, and a problem solver who works well under pressure and handles confidential information with discretion. You enjoy seeing projects end to end from concept to rollout and leverage technical acumen and creativity to build data-driven stories that inform executive decisions. In this role you will collaborate closely with HR and executive leaders across cross-functional departments to glean meaningful stories from Bloomberg's workforce data and optimize HR efforts, employee experience, and travel and expense analytics.
Responsibilities
- Prototype, build and enhance data models and solutions for advanced reporting and analysis of workforce and travel and expense data.
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop metrics and performance indicators to support and resolve people-related business priorities, strategies, and challenges.
- Support the data analytics roadmap by building compelling dashboards with a strong narrative and visualization that resonate with executive-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven analyses and actionable insights grounded in strong statistical methods.
- Support ad-hoc requests and provide day-to-day reporting and analytics support to HR, business leaders and Finance.
- Ensure prioritization and timely delivery of requests while maintaining data accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics focused on delivering insights and driving meaningful impact, with at least 3 years working in People Analytics.
- Proven expertise in building robust data models from complex data sources to generate analyses and insights.
- Hands-on experience querying with SQL and applying statistical concepts using Python, R, SPSS, or other similar programming languages.
- Experience turning ambiguous business requirements into actionable deliverables.
- Self-motivated with an enthusiastic team spirit and strong collaboration skills.
- Extreme attention to detail and an ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with care.
- A bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Industrial/Organization Psychology (disciplines with substantial scientific and quantitative training preferred).
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Industrial/Organization Psychology.
- Experience with business intelligence tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Workday and/or other HR packages.
- Experience with Time and Expense data.
Benefits
Salary Range: 135000 - 165000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
