OpenAI’s Go To Market (GTM) team helps customers leverage and deploy OpenAI’s AI products across their business. The Sales team for this role combines technical understanding, vision, partnership, and value-driven strategy to help customers understand how highly capable AI models can impact their business. This role drives opportunities through the entire sales cycle, working with researchers, engineers, and solution strategists.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a small number of key accounts and develop/execute comprehensive account plans.
  • Lead enterprise prospects from consideration to successful deployment.
  • Partner with solutions and research engineering to build and execute complex customer programs and projects.
  • Own a consumption revenue target and manage consumption revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze key account metrics to create reports and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor the industry landscape (people, competitors, partners) and contribute to product roadmap and corporate strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with solutions, marketing, communications, business operations, people operations, finance, product management, and engineering.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of teammates and contribute to company culture.

Requirements

  • 12+ years selling platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and/or software-as-a-service (SaaS).
  • Track record of achieving revenue targets > $2M per year for more than 3 years.
  • Experience designing and executing complex deal strategies.
  • Experience supporting growth at fast-growing, high-performance companies.
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives and serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience leading high-visibility customer events (CAB, conferences, product launches, etc.).
  • Experience gathering, distilling, and processing complex market intelligence (industry, competitor, customer, prospect).

You should be customer-centric, curious about or passionate about artificial intelligence, comfortable building systems and processes, excited by new challenges, and strategic in go-to-market planning.

Compensation

  • Salary range: $290,000 - $350,000 per year (base pay may vary depending on market location, experience, and other factors).
