This AI Solutions Architect, AI/ML role sits at the intersection of technology and business, blending solutions architecture, sales engineering, and forward-deployed engineering. The role requires limited supervision and will work remotely. Location: Santa Clara County.
Responsibilities
- Lead all technical sales activities related to customer engagements from early-stage discussions through successful design wins.
- Uncover critical technical and business considerations during customer engagements.
- Work closely with sales account leaders to craft winning technical proposals featuring Groq products.
- Build deep relationships with customers by understanding their solutions and challenges, positioning Groq's products effectively, and providing exceptional technical support throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Engage in technical discussions and deliver compelling demos to establish technical credibility.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Groq's Language Processor Unit (LPU) and software stack, and translate that knowledge into customer insights and product positioning.
- Lead technical discussions on AI/ML models, algorithmic kernels, and accelerated hardware in production environments.
- Drive adoption of Groq's AI/ML solutions in key verticals (hyperscale data centers, automotive, high-performance computing).
- Recommend product enhancements based on first-hand customer knowledge to influence product development strategy.
- Act as the primary technical contact for key customers, providing ongoing support and technical advice.
- Lead continuous optimization and enhancement of deployed systems, identifying areas for improvement and expansion.
- Partner with customer success to develop strategies that ensure customer satisfaction and potential upsell opportunities.
- Provide hands-on support and technical training to customer teams so they can operate Groq systems independently.
Requirements
- Blend of technical expertise expected of a solutions architect, customer-facing skills of a sales engineer, and hands-on implementation responsibilities of a forward-deployed engineer (as described above).
- In-depth understanding of Groq's Language Processor Unit (LPU) and Groq software stack.
- Knowledge of AI/ML models, algorithmic kernels, and accelerated hardware in production environments.
- Ability to lead technical sales conversations, deliver demos, and provide hands-on customer support and training.
- Ability to recommend product improvements based on customer feedback and operational experience.
Compensation & Location
- Salary Range: $240,000 – $250,000 per year.
- Location: Santa Clara County. Role is remote.
