Details
We are looking for a motivated individual to assist with the development and implementation of asset-liability management (ALM) models. As an intern, you'll work closely with our ALM team to support the development of financial projections and scenarios for various assets and liabilities products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ALM models for assets and liabilities, including data input, model calibration, and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with the MD ALM team to develop behavioural models that capture customer behaviour over time.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing of the ALM models to assess the impact of various risk factors on the financial projections.
- Analyze results with the ALM team to identify potential areas of risk or opportunity.
- Help prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently in the final year of pursuing a degree in Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field. Student status must be maintained throughout the internship.
- Available for at least 6 months.
- Studying at a Dutch university (non-EU citizens on non-Dutch universities are not allowed due to visa restrictions).
- Familiar with financial modelling techniques.
- Proficient in coding, preferably Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
