The Community You Will Join

The Revenue Forecasting team plays a central role in shaping Airbnb’s financial outlook by accurately forecasting global topline revenue and leading the company’s revenue planning process. We develop rigorous forecasts anchored in key business drivers, support company-wide reporting, and provide analytical guidance for strategic and operational decisions. In this role, you will partner with the business on growth, analytics, and strategy for Core Stays, collaborating closely with Finance and Data Science stakeholders to strengthen our forecasting processes and overall financial planning. You will also support the team during annual planning, long range planning, quarterly earnings, and monthly forecasting and reporting cycles.

You will develop data-backed solutions that advance revenue planning capabilities. This role focuses on Excel modeling, process enhancement, automation of data workflows, and building high-quality executive presentations. You will be expected to quickly understand business drivers and communicate complex insights clearly to senior leaders, including Airbnb’s CFO and CBO.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Strategic Finance leaders and Data Scientists to improve forecast accuracy and enhance existing revenue models.
  • Support development of new financial forecasting frameworks for Core Stays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Policy, Treasury, Payments) to assess and quantify key risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting that defines, tracks, and monitors forecasted metrics at country-level granularity.
  • Create presentations in Google Slides to communicate key trends and forecast performance, exercising strong judgment on what matters and digging into root causes.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial review cycles with high-quality analysis and timely deliverables.
  • Deliver actionable insights through reporting and analytics; proactively identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, speed, and accessibility.

Requirements / Your Expertise

  • 2+ years of experience in strategic finance, product analytics, business intelligence, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses to uncover business drivers and generate insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write, optimize, and interpret complex queries.
  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Python or R is a significant plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across levels and make actionable recommendations.
  • Strong presentation and collaboration tools experience, including G Suite (Google Slides) and Keynote.
  • Highly organized, independent, self-motivated, and committed to delivering consistently accurate, high-quality work products.
  • Mission-driven, enthusiastic to learn and grow within the SFA organization; team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Your Location

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager. While Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (the listing links to the up-to-date list of excluded states).

Compensation & Benefits

The actual base pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range for this role is $95,000—$112,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
