ING Americas Wholesale Banking is seeking an Analyst for the Lending Analytics & Change Management team in New York, NY. The role focuses on driving strategic transformation across ING Americas Lending by managing change initiatives, delivering product-level analytics to support capital allocation and loan performance monitoring, and partnering with front-office, technology and operations teams to optimize data and digital tooling. The position offers exposure to process design, regulatory & risk, digital infrastructure and data domains and follows a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Project manage change initiatives: maintain detailed workplans, prepare steering materials, and escalate risks or bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical tools to monitor loan portfolio performance and operational KPIs using tools such as Excel and PowerBI.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc management reporting packages, including origination and secondary loan sale analytics, underperforming client reviews and risk issue remediation plans.
- Assist in product governance processes: document and track new product approvals, policy changes and control enhancements.
- Conduct data extraction, validation and reconciliation across systems, identify anomalies and support remediation efforts in collaboration with technology and operations teams.
- Participate in regional and global working groups, supporting the Lending functionβs interface with Head Office on regulatory initiatives, digital tooling and policy implementation.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree.
- 2+ years of experience in Banking or Consulting.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills (preparing visual executive presentations).
- Intermediate Excel skills; experience building analytical tools and dashboards.
- Experience with PowerBI (dashboard development and monitoring KPI/reporting solutions).
- Program & project management experience; ability to maintain workplans and drive deliverables.
- Experience in data tracking, analysis, extraction, validation and reconciliation across systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience preparing executive-level materials.
- Comfortable collaborating with front office, risk, technology and operations stakeholders.
