Join BUUT, a new neobank by ABN AMRO created by the makers of Tikkie, designed for the new generation with a unique user experience. BUUT offers familiar banking features with a Tikkie twist, tailored for teens and their parents, and available soon on app stores.
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in daily scrum meetings and sprint events including planning, refinements, retrospectives, and demos.
- Take ownership of user stories by developing sustainable, high-quality features ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm, prototype, and implement innovative app features.
- Ensure excellence in releases through rigorous testing, performance optimization, and delivering outstanding user experiences.
- Adapt to evolving project requirements, user feedback, and market demands with agility.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proactive problem solver who thrives in a flat organizational structure and contributes ideas regardless of seniority.
- Strong emphasis on UI/UX, viewing designers as key collaborators.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years professional software development experience, preferably in fintech start-up or scale-up environment.
- Experience with Kotlin and the latest Jetpack APIs is essential.
- Knowledge of Dagger Hilt, Jetpack Compose, and MVI/MVVM architecture.
- Commitment to secure, reliable, and testable code.
- Passion for automation using tools like Fastlane and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in finance or banking is a significant plus.
