NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding ASIC Verification Engineer to verify the design and implementation of the world's leading SoC's and GPU's. Responsibilities

  • Verify the design, architecture, and micro-architecture using advanced verification methodologies
  • Define the verification scope and develop verification infrastructure for memory subsystem units
  • Verify firmware code, focusing on hardware/firmware interactions
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and software engineers across sites

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with verification methodology and creating reusable verification components
  • Knowledge of random stimulus verification, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies
  • Fluency in Object Oriented Programming with SystemVerilog
  • Exposure to design and verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulation tools, Debussy, GDB) and methodologies (UVM or equivalent)
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ways to Stand Out

  • Prior experience with high-speed IO protocols or memory coherence verification
  • Experience debugging embedded firmware code (C or RISCV Assembly)
  • Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and/or RISCV Architecture
  • Experience writing verification plans
  • Strong verification mindset and intuition
