This role is part of a diverse Information Security team focusing on maintaining and improving the organization's security posture by managing IT risk controls and governance related to security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Own IT risk controls and processes aligned with Wholesale Banking strategic initiatives.
  • Advise process owners on IT and Security processes to manage and report IT & Cyber Risk.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and stay updated with the latest security standards and best practices.
  • Manage execution and adoption of IAM across ING applications.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in developing and maintaining a strong information security program.
  • Liaise with DevOps engineers to support IAM onboarding and control implementation.
  • Design, implement, and monitor security safeguards against emerging cyber threats.
  • Develop a risk culture and provide governance for IT security standards.
  • Implement information security strategies to enhance security posture.
  • Foster innovation and experimentally improve security processes.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of security processes, tools, and procedures.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience; certifications like CISM, CISA, or CISSP are preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in Information Security, preferably in IAM.
  • Technical expertise with Microsoft MFA, CyberArk, Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and security services.
  • Deep knowledge of security principles: Confidentiality, Integrity & Availability.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams including developers, admins, and business users.
