Our team supports high-impact executive events and company-wide keynotes—both at NVIDIA Headquarters and internationally. We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician – Live Broadcast and Events to ensure technical excellence at the intersection of corporate theater, broadcast, high-end staging, and concert touring environments. This role blends broadcast engineering, AV production, and live event experience to support keynotes and high-profile events, both in-person and hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate AV systems (audio, video, lighting, networking) for live broadcasts, keynote presentations, executive addresses, and corporate events.
  • Prepare, test, schedule, and engineer live streaming to platforms including YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn, and hybrid events using vMix, Teams, Zoom, and Kaltura.
  • Engineer and operate broadcast equipment: video switchers, digital audio consoles, routers, servers, graphics systems, LED walls, and camera systems.
  • Use AV-over-IP protocols (for example, Dante, MADI, SMPTE ST 2110, NDI) and manage digital video standards (EDID, resolutions, frame rates, color depth, codecs).
  • Provide technical support for Tier 1–3 events (Flagship GTC, executive speaking engagements, major product launches), both in-person and hybrid formats.
  • Maintain AV lab and inventory: systematic equipment organization, logging, maintenance, and detailed tracking through Google/SharePoint systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years professional AV experience, including live broadcast, event production, and concert or touring environments (bonus for large venue experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency across audio systems: Yamaha digital mixers, Shure microphones, Clearcom/Freespeak intercoms, professional line arrays.
  • Proficiency across video systems: Barco E2, Christie Spyder X80, Blackmagic ATEM, and other broadcast mixing systems.
  • Working knowledge of LED walls and processors (AOTO, ROE, Absen, InfiLED, Megapixel, Brompton) and related LED workflows.
  • Background with lighting systems: Chamsys, GrandMA, Hog, moving light fixtures, concert-level lighting rigs and studio environments.
  • Proficiency with streaming systems and live streaming hardware/software.
  • Experience working in hotels, conference centers, corporate theaters, and large-format venues.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%, including event setup/support/teardown (up to 14 days at a time).
  • Possess an active California driver’s license and ability to frequently lift objects over 40 lbs.

  • Corporate theater and high-end staging background.
  • Familiarity with emerging audiovisual technology trends.
  • Proactive, determined, and resourceful approach; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to solve complex problems under pressure.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges (dependent on level, location, and experience):
    • Level 2: 100,000 USD - 161,000 USD
    • Level 3: 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD
