Saily is an eSIM product built for travelers and explorers, backed by cybersecurity expertise and recognized by reviewers (Lonely Planet, PCMag).

This role is part of the Saily backend team and focuses on building a new microservice system for the eSIM product, contributing to personalization, experimentation, analytics, and high-quality backend APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Build a completely new sophisticated microservice system for the new eSIM product
  • Create features to support layers of multi-dimensional personalization, A/B experimentation, and analytics
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality codebase
  • Continuously seek to improve code and performance
  • Mentor colleagues on development best practices and provide technical guidance
  • Influence the overall vision and long-range goals of the team
  • Perform R&D operations whenever required
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team and help ensure smooth communication between all team members
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design professionals from other teams

Requirements

  • Experience working with Go (2+ years)
  • Strong system design knowledge; you know which patterns to use, when, and why
  • Experience with Kubernetes and microservice architecture is a plus
  • Previous experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, Redis) solutions
  • Previous experience with Kafka
  • Passion for building APIs that are easy to use and simple to understand
  • Collaborative mindset; comfortable discussing, rethinking, and redesigning ideas
