Your impact: Helping millions take back control of their online security, privacy, and data. This role sits in the Pricing team (Backend - NordVPN) based in Vilnius with a hybrid workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Develop distributed microservices that enable the business to control what, where and for how much offers are created for customers.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality code with scalability and security as primary concerns.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated developers to build and maintain services in Golang.
  • Take ownership of architecture, design, development, and deployment initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience working with distributed technologies and NoSQL databases (ideally Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch).
  • Strong system design skills; familiarity with design patterns and when to apply them.
  • Passion for backend architecture and scalable, stable code.
  • Collaborative mindset; ability to discuss, rethink, and redesign ideas with the team.
  • Experience in e-commerce is welcome but not mandatory.
