The Backend department uses modern and innovative technologies to create our world-leading cybersecurity products. We have squads that work towards different goals, but we are mainly known as driven professionals writing quality code. The BoB (Bunch of Bills) team is responsible for implementations related to purchasing, licensing and subscriptions for end customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, tested, documented code that delivers real business value
  • Be involved in creating APIs that developers (both internally and externally) really want to use
  • Together with the core team deliver quality code-based solutions
  • Advocate for good coding practices, continuous delivery, and technical excellence
  • Build and maintain current APIs and backend solutions; work on large pieces of backend functionality

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of experience working with PHP
  • Understanding of OOP principles and good code design
  • Previous experience building highly scalable systems
  • Knowledge and experience with API design
  • Good (My)SQL knowledge and experience working with large data volumes
  • Experience working with Git
  • Writing tested and documented code; familiarity with continuous delivery practices

Nice to have / Bonus

  • Experience working in microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of CQRS
  • Fluency in Symfony
  • Good knowledge of plain PHP
  • Familiarity with Docker, RabbitMQ and Redis

Compensation

  • Gross Salary 23,800–33,400 PLN / Month (as specified in the posting)
