Details
We are looking for a Golang Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Go (Golang), API development, database design, and cloud-native application development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang).
- Build scalable and high-performance microservices.
- Develop RESTful APIs using JSON and HTTP protocols.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Understand application architecture and technical design.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Deploy and manage services in Kubernetes environments.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
- Work closely with Developers and Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience with Go (Golang).
- Strong experience with concurrency using Goroutines & Channels.
- Experience with Interfaces and Generics (data modelling).
- Able to write unit and integration tests.
API Development
- REST API development
- JSON and HTTP protocols
- API authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
Databases
- Experience with one or more: MySQL/PostgreSQL, AWS RDS and Aurora.
Software Engineering
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented and modular design principles, design patterns, unit and integration testing.
