While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily billing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) performance, generate accurate invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee billing timelines, collections, and payment-related issues.
• Maintain and update billing procedures and workflows as new systems, billing types, or priorities emerge.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procedural compliance and scalability.
• Evaluate billing and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Leverage tools and data to automate processes for scalability.
• Use SQL to retrieve and analyze billing data for actionable insights.
• Work with engineers to troubleshoot systems and enhance reporting tools.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams to address billing and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Requirements

• 2-4 years experience in billing, finance operations, or a related role.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Basic SQL skills for querying data and providing insights.
• Experience managing operational procedures and documentation.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with billing software or financial systems.
• Experience with Python or other scripting tools.
• Exposure to fintech, SaaS, or fast-paced environments.

Pay Range: $45.69 – $53.75 USD per hour.
