Role summary

Tell stories on the web using Framer to turn ideas into interactive narratives that feel fast, clear, and alive. You will design in the browser, think in sequences and states, and ship high-performing pages quickly. The role emphasizes interactive storytelling, strong design judgment, and the ability to go from concept to production without handoffs.

Responsibilities

  • Create narrative web work in Framer from concept to live.
  • Define and implement choreography of the story: pacing, states, scroll behavior, and transitions.
  • Build and maintain a reusable Framer system including components, tokens, patterns, and CMS integration.
  • Operate with a fast launch cadence and tight loops from brief to ship.
  • Add custom code inside Framer when needed to extend interactions and functionality.

Requirements (Must-haves)

  • Framer mastery with live links to complex builds and advanced interactions.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates interactive storytelling (not just static comps).
  • Ability to go from idea to production without handoffs.
  • Comfort adding custom code in Framer (React, TypeScript, or other custom code approaches).
  • Sharp design judgment and taste under speed.

Nice to have

  • Motion skills with Rive or Lottie.
  • 3D on the web experience with Three.js or Spline.
  • Experience improving clarity or conversion through interaction design.

Portfolio guidance

  • Cash compensation: $165,000 to $220,000 per year.
