Airbnb is seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst to join the France, Netherlands and Belgium teams within the Homes Supply organization for a 12-month fixed-term commitment. The role supports local homes teams by providing insights, recommendations, and enabling data-informed decisions to grow and maintain supply health across hundreds of thousands of hosts.

Responsibilities

  • Support local teams in executing optimisation campaigns by building targeted audience selections using SQL
  • Analyse end-to-end campaign performance, derive insights, and deliver strategic recommendations to optimise future campaigns
  • Provide business intelligence and data analysis as well as business-oriented recommendations to support market strategic priorities
  • Build data models to help grow the host community and identify opportunities
  • Develop measurement capabilities for local partnerships and audit performance to support action-plan definition
  • Build dashboards aggregating internal and external datasets and deliver insights on trends, patterns and opportunities
  • Monitor business performance on weekly, monthly and quarterly bases and lead business reviews

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis
  • Degree in a technical field (strong preference for Data Science, Statistics, Advanced Business Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics or similar)
  • Fluent with SQL and similar querying languages (examples given: Hive/Presto/SQL)
  • Experience with preprocessing and scripting (examples given: Unix/Python) and statistical analysis (examples given: R/Python) is a plus
  • Very proficient with Excel
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: able to validate data, recognize trends, and make sense of complex data issues
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with different stakeholders
  • Organized, efficient, proactive, curious, and comfortable diving deep on hunches

Compensation & Benefits

  • France annual base pay range: €61,000 β€” €72,000 EUR (base pay dependent on training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands)
