Details

ClickHouse is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence / Data Analytics Lead to own master data management and reporting across Operations and Go-To-Market teams, with a focus on sales and support datasets. You will collaborate with GTM teams (Sales, Partner, Support), corresponding operations teams, and the central Product Analytics Data Warehouse (DWH) Team to scale reporting, analytics, and data pipelines. This is a hybrid role that owns the data pipelines for key operational teams and generates reporting and analytics. The centralized DWH team will support data engineering work, but you will own the work streams end-to-end for the teams you support.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data warehouse components on behalf of the Operations teams.
  • Manage data molding work and optimize Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
  • Perform some data engineering work to connect current data sources into the ClickHouse DWH.
  • Own Master Data Management across Operations, including creating and managing a data dictionary.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Develop reusable reports and dashboards that become the "sources of truth" for functions such as Support, Sales, and Partners.
  • Design and maintain company-wide metrics dashboards.
  • Partner with the central DWH team to ensure Ops adheres to best practices and naming conventions.
  • Collaborate with the central DWH team to extend AI functionality across Operations metrics (e.g., the DWAINE project).
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to align on data definitions.
  • Develop and implement audit reports across operational processes to validate accuracy and efficiency of automations and integrations; create data snapshots to preserve audit history and support historical reporting.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and produce clear, concise visualizations to communicate findings.
  • Implement Tableau or related BI tools to ensure ease of use and drive self-service.
  • Lead enablement sessions to drive self-service across stakeholder teams.
  • Potentially expand support to other teams (HR, Marketing, Finance).
  • Partner with the Security team to ensure proper protocols to safeguard data.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with SQL and data analysis.
  • 2+ years working at a fast-paced technology company.
  • Strong expertise writing complex SQL queries and creating optimized views.
  • Experience with Python and R (preferred).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Superset).
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data engineering patterns.
  • Proven track record translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience creating clear, impactful data visualizations.
  • Background in data modeling and database design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • DBT experience (preferred).
  • ClickHouse experience (a plus).
  • Superset experience (a plus).
