Details
We are looking for a Business Developer who can bridge business needs and AI opportunities. In this role you will work closely with stakeholders to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future processes leveraging AI and automation. You will work in the AI Strategy Team in the Centre of Expertise Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence and report to the Business Lead CoE AA & AI.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges
- Gather and structure functional and process requirements
- Facilitate discussions to align stakeholders on improvement opportunities
- Document current (“as‑is”) processes in a structured way
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement potential
- Design future (“to‑be”) processes that improve efficiency and quality
- Create clear and structured process documentation
- Identify where AI can improve or transform existing processes
- Translate business needs into potential AI use cases
- Collaborate with AI specialists to define solution direction
- Stay informed on AI capabilities and innovations relevant to financial services
- Assess impact of proposed improvements on efficiency, cost, and quality
- Support prioritization of initiatives based on business value
- Ensure solutions align with financial and regulatory context
- Work closely with business teams, AI specialists, and product teams
- Support implementation of new processes and ways of working
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Working environment
The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) and serves all Finance and Risk departments. The domain employs 200+ international professionals focused on improving risk data, data systems and data processes. The team works with an Agile operating model and the atmosphere is described as dynamic, open and informal.
You will be part of the AI Strategy Team in the Centre of Expertise Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence. The role reports to the Business Lead CoE AA & AI.
Requirements / Your profile
- Higher professional education (BSc) or degree (MSc)
- At least 5–7 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
- Understanding of regulatory context in Finance & Risk
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Affinity with data-driven decision making
- Familiarity with the Agile way of working
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
- Experience with Confluence, JIRA or Azure Boards (pre)
- Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel

We are offering
- Monthly salary: € 6.793 - € 9.704 per month
- Benefit Budget: 11% of your salary (monthly payout if not used in the Benefit Shop)
