Details
As a Business Developer / Analyst within the Non‑Financial Risk (NFR) Grid, you operate with a “getting things done” mindset. You work closely with architects, POs and DevOps teams across the bank to translate business, risk and regulatory requirements into actionable user stories for both SaaS onboarding and home‑grown application development. The NFR Grid serves stakeholders in domains such as Legal, Audit, Compliance, SIM, Regulatory Change Management, Privacy, Corporate Office, etc.
Responsibilities
- Translate business, risk, and regulatory requirements from SIM stakeholders and Corporate Office into clear, actionable business user stories for SaaS application onboarding and home‑grown application development.
- Define requirements for secure handling of highly confidential and sensitive data, including access control, data segregation, logging, auditability and integration with existing systems.
- Take ownership of requirements clarification, refinement, and acceptance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Work in an Agile and DevOps environment; contribute to refinement, planning, and delivery to ensure outcomes are realized.
- Collaborate with domain architects to co‑define solution designs that align with ABN AMRO’s architecture principles, risk frameworks, and strategic direction.
- Advise internal and external stakeholders on design choices, regulatory constraints, data privacy, security, and technology trade‑offs; build support for proposed solutions.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, emerging technologies and competitor developments; challenge requirements to ensure scalable, compliant, and sustainable solutions.
- Lead and support SaaS application onboarding, including vendor assessment, data security and privacy reviews, regulatory compliance checks, integration with the bank’s IT landscape and alignment with the cloud approval board.

Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of work experience in relevant fields such as (business) analysis, design, development, testing, or DevOps.
- Experience in SDLC and ITIL; familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, and development/delivery tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Strong understanding of non‑financial risk, information security, data confidentiality and regulatory obligations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to adapt approach to different audiences.
- Hands‑on experience with onboarding SaaS applications is a plus.
- For this position you must already live and work in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
Benefits
- Gross monthly salary (min. EUR 5.303 – max EUR 7.577) based on a 36 hour work week (including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget); a 40 hour work is also possible.
