We are seeking proactive, dynamic Business Developer with a background in data modeling. Join our team as a Business Developer and collaborate with us to shape the future of our Non-Financial Risk data platform, ensuring the delivery of reliable data.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and understand business needs, translating the requirements into comprehensive data models.
- Skilled in defining and refining requirements for logical and physical data models, working closely with data engineers to ensure accurate implementation; being the bridge between business and IT.
- Take ownership of ensuring that data is modeled to support current and future use in line with the ABN AMRO Bank standards for data management.
- Have an end-to-end overview on the data flow, from the golden sources to the use cases.
- Define and document metadata, analyse and resolve data quality issues, and capture governance lineage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in data modeling with tools such as Erwin or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into data model requirements.
- Affinity with IT/data platform and knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and Data Integration.
- Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices (e.g., DAMA) and the requirements in these areas from the regulator (e.g., BCBS239).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Interest in non-financial risk area.
- Teamwork-, innovation- and goal-orientated mindset.
- Experience in agile working and familiarity with Scrum/DevOps teams.
- Completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.).
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
