Details

We are looking for a colleague, knowledgeable on and passionate about provisions and risk classification, who is keen on details and has the drive to help the teams bring functionality live in line with committed timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Become the expert of the provisions calculation chain, risk staging and risk classifications.
  • Uncover and define detailed business requirements from a wide stakeholder group and from relevant regulations.
  • Oversee requirements and, together with Product Owners and colleague Business Developers, translate them into concrete, efficient and effective implementation plans aligned with ABN AMRO's longer-term vision.
  • Ensure implementation plans are accepted by the blocks (multidisciplinary teams) that will implement them and act as an integrator where necessary to bring implementations live.
  • Continuously adapt vision and implementation plans to changing regulatory and organizational environments.
  • Participate in the monthly reporting cycle, monitor processes and provide analysis for business stakeholders.

Working environment

  • You will work in an agile DevOps environment as part of a multidisciplinary team (a "block") of business and IT within the Financial Risk grid.
  • The Financial Risk grid (~250 colleagues) is responsible for RWA calculations and IFRS9 provisions, including model implementations, stress testing and scenario analysis, and Financial Recovery & Resolution.
  • Stakeholders include Risk Management departments, business functions, Finance and other grids.
  • You will cooperate with experienced colleague business developers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a financial institution with exposure to agile IT development.
  • Strong background in IFRS accounting, in particular IFRS9.
  • Proven analytical skills, attention to detail and a result-oriented mindset.
  • Data savvy: knowledge of data modelling and extensive experience using SQL and other data tools to analyse data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Process thinker: ability to place solutions within the context of full processes.
  • Pro-active and inquisitive attitude.

  • Salary range: € 5.112 - € 7.303 per month (including holiday allowance) — based on a 36-hour workweek.
