Our Business Intelligence team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Business Intelligence Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating reporting and analytical solutions for various business functions. This role requires a solid understanding of data analytics and tools, as well as collaborating directly with motivated business groups and the Business System Analyst team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end business intelligence solutions using SAP BW on HANA and native HANA.
  • Provide deep understanding of one functional process (for example Sales, Planning, or Operations).
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Translate business requirements into technical plans and align with Business System Analysts (BSA) and project management teams on timing, resources, and scope of deliverables.
  • Execute user acceptance testing, performance testing, security testing (including documenting the results) and handle high-criticality enhancement requests.
  • Assist with development of analytic reporting, BI tools, dashboards, and data modeling.
  • Pursue problems and resolve technical issues: debug, fine tune and optimize report performance.
  • Work closely with BSAs and Business Owners to analyze business problems and provide solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of extensive development experience in SAP Business Intelligence (HANA/BW) solution delivery with at least 4 full life cycle implementations using SAP BW 7.5 on HANA, native HANA, and B/4 HANA.
  • Confirmed knowledge in the design and configuration of Sales/Planning/Operations Info Providers with BW on HANA experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BW on HANA features, standard and custom SAP BW Extractors, complex transformations using ABAP, advanced DSOs, composite providers, exposing BW models as HANA views, mixed scenarios, HANA Analysis process in BW and LSA++ and performance optimization concepts.
  • Experience with BW data modeling: Business Warehouse Remote Cubes, Multi-Cubes, ODS Objects, InfoCubes, Transfer Rules, Start Routines, End Routines, InfoSet Queries, InfoObjects and User Exits.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with SAP (Native) HANA and B/4 HANA data modeling views (Attribute, Analytics and Calculation views) including graphical and SQL scripting, procedures, schema management, and data provisioning technologies such as SAP LT Replication Server and Data Services (BODS).
  • Experience with BusinessObjects (BOBJ) with emphasis on developing Universes using IDT and Webi reports.
  • Ability to build and support back-end security models to safeguard business-critical sensitive data.
  • Proficient in use of SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office to perform custom calculations, filtering and sorts to support complex business planning and reporting scenarios.

Ways to stand out

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range (determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions): 144,000 USD - 230,000 USD.
