Sentry embraces a hybrid work model with Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays set as in-office anchor days to encourage collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholder teams to run detailed analysis, identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform key business decisions.
- Partner with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering on projects to shape and scale the BI layer and BI reporting.
- Simplify and automate reporting; build scalable, self-service reporting solutions for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, and other teams to support data needs and identify key insights.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (graduating 2027 or later) in business analytics, statistics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline; minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- Experience with modern analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, including writing queries.
- Understanding of data visualization principles to simplify complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to educate and collaborate with both non-technical and highly technical audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to take ownership of work.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $38/hr (the base hourly wage that Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position).
- A successful candidate’s actual hourly wage will be determined by factors including work location, education, experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
- Eligible to participate in Sentry’s employee benefit plans/programs applicable to the position (including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage).
Work Model
- Hybrid: anchor in-office days are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Role is based in San Francisco, California.
