Details

NVIDIA is transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing and is expanding into AI-driven computing. As a CAD Tools Infrastructure Admin you will join a multi-functional software development team supporting core product development, focusing on site reliability engineering and systems administration for a diverse infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Support and administer infrastructure that includes bare metal servers, virtual machines (VMs), containers, and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Provide site reliability engineering (SRE) support to ensure high availability and operational excellence for CAD tool pipelines and related services.
  • Administer end-user machine applications used by engineering teams.
  • Develop and implement modernization plans for legacy systems to reduce maintenance and operational overhead (upgrade, consolidate, migrate where appropriate).
  • Improve security posture: credential management, application isolation, and related security controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and scale infrastructure and tooling.

Requirements

  • BSEE, BS in Computer Science, Dipl. Ing, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering.
  • Linux and Windows administration experience.
  • Scripting experience (automating tasks, maintenance, deployments).
  • Networking experience relevant to infrastructure and service connectivity.

Preferred / Ways to stand out

Familiarity with the following tools and technologies is a plus:

  • HashiCorp Vault
  • Code signing processes
  • GitLab Runners
  • Zabbix
  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
  • Web Application Firewalls (for example, Cloudflare)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD (final base salary determined by location, experience, and comparable employee pay).
  • Eligible for equity and company benefits (see NVIDIA benefits).
