As a CAD Tools Infrastructure Admin you will join a dynamic, multi-functional software development team supporting core product development and play a key role in site reliability engineering and systems administration for CAD tooling infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Join and collaborate with a multi-functional software development team supporting core product development.
- Site reliability engineering and systems administration across diverse infrastructure: bare metal, virtual machines (VMs), containers, and Kubernetes.
- Support end-user machine applications used by CAD tool users.
- Develop and implement modernization plans for legacy systems (upgrades, consolidation) to reduce maintenance and operational overhead.
- Improve security posture of systems and applications: credential management, application isolation, and other security measures.
Requirements
- BSEE / CS / Dipl. Ing or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of site reliability engineering experience.
- Linux and Windows administration experience.
- Scripting experience (unspecified language(s)).
- Networking experience.
Nice-to-have / Ways to stand out
Familiarity with the following tools and topics is a plus:
- HashiCorp Vault
- Code signing
- GitLab Runners
- Zabbix
- ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access)
- Web Application Firewalls (for example, Cloudflare)
Other relevant technologies mentioned in the role: Kubernetes, containers, VMs, bare metal, credential management, application isolation, security practices for infrastructure.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base salary range: 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD (determined by location, experience, and internal pay equity).
