Join the Financial Risk Grid Value Proposition Team at ABN AMRO and play a pivotal role in shaping the bank's credit risk change implementations. You will translate complex Finance and Risk (regulatory) requirements into actionable proposals, lead large implementation projects across the credit value chain, and work with stakeholders across the bank to deliver future-proof Finance & Risk solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into concrete implementation plans and roadmaps, taking the evolving IT landscape into account.
  • Lead large, complex implementation projects impacting the entire credit value chain.
  • Work on key Financial Risk processes and systems, including:
    • IRB model implementation
    • Credit Risk RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) calculation
    • Economic Capital calculation
    • IFRS 9 provision calculation
    • Stress testing processes and related calculators
  • Facilitate senior management decision-making and represent projects in steering committees.
  • Design solutions for complex cross-value-chain changes and act as the link between solution design and implementation, resolving queries from grids and programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, reporting teams and delivery teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within large financial institutions or consulting firms, with demonstrated success managing complex projects.
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep domain knowledge of Credit Risk and Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR).
  • Experience with IRB implementations, RWA calculation, Economic Capital, IFRS 9 provisioning and stress testing.
  • Significant experience in change management within complex environments and translating strategy into delivery.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills; ability to facilitate senior decision-making and drive alignment.
  • Analytical mindset with daily-use proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, organisational awareness and a collaborative mindset; ability to work independently when required.

  • Gross monthly salary (based on a 36-hour work week): €5,112 - €7,303 (including vacation pay and an 11% benefit budget). Equivalent annual salary: €61,344 - €87,636.
