Responsibilities
- Set the architecture strategic direction of People & Hubs by working with the Management team consisting of IT Leads and the CIO.
- Drive the execution of future state P&H Tech architectures and roadmaps.
- Set global standard architectures and cooperate with other domains.
- Manage the team of domain architects and act as a sparring partner to the CIO and the Enterprise Architects.
- Initiate and lead architectural Epics/Features proactively.
- Provide subject-matter expert assistance to ensure adherence to the architectural vision during execution.
- Provide architecture guidance to senior level management (including COO and CIO) of P&H Tech and interact with senior management of related domains.
- Represent ING towards relevant external parties for architectural topics.
- Initiate and lead market and vendor challenges, keeping abreast of latest global scale technology developments.
- Drive the architecture guild and continuous improvement of the Agile Way of Working.
- Act as the ING authority for multiple strategic partners, developing future requirements for standard package solutions and steering strategic supplier development.
Requirements
- M.Sc. education in computer science or a related area.
- 10+ years of professional experience at management level in an IT architecture/banking environment.
- Extensive knowledge of continuous delivery and IT banking systems in an integrated context.
- Ability to convey complex technical ideas clearly and engagingly.
- Proven track record of developing and operating strategic infrastructure services in large enterprises.
- Experience with the Agile Way of Working in diverse, matrix, international environments.
- Ability to build strategic roadmaps.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for problem-solving.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Expertise in driving and steering multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in strategic projects with high impact.
- Excellent level of English.
