Details

At Eneco you will contribute to the development and integration of our B2C domain. You will work within the core ecosystem that powers our B2C business — covering areas such as product configuration, contract management, billing, fulfilment, pricing, and metering. You will design and build scalable backend solutions, integrate diverse systems through APIs and microservices, and ensure smooth data flows across the value chain to deliver seamless customer experiences and support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services and integrations using .NET/C#.
  • Design clean, modular architectures and ensure system reliability, scalability and security.
  • Build cloud-ready services and work with CI/CD pipelines for fast and secure delivery.
  • Integrate diverse systems via APIs, microservices and event-driven patterns (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Eventhub).
  • Optimize performance and implement monitoring/observability solutions for high availability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, testers and product managers in cross-functional product teams.
  • Support and enhance the B2C ecosystem and contribute to the wider C# Community of Practice.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with .NET / C# and backend development.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-native development (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerization and microservices.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Eventhub).
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL / NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with APIs and technologies such as gRPC.
  • Ability to write performant, maintainable, scalable and secure microservices following best practices.
  • Based in the Netherlands and fluent in English.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across disciplines.

Bonus

  • Experience with observability, SLIs and SLOs.
  • Knowledge of B2C operations.
  • Experience within the energy sector.
