Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company with millions of users worldwide. The Commercial Account Executive, Acquisition will be based in Switzerland (Remote) and will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business across the Alps region. The role focuses on selling Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise (observability stack including Grafana Mimir for metrics, Grafana Loki for logs, and Grafana Tempo for traces) and requires a consultative sales approach and familiarity with infrastructure technology sales.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Outbound prospecting into net-new customers and cultivate sales through outbound and inbound leads.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process: prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Understand and convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise.
  • Manage your sales pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests.
  • Hand off relationships to the Growth team after the trial/closing phase.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in infrastructure technology sales.
  • Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer).
  • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious team player; adaptable with experience in high-velocity technology companies.
  • Excellent communication skills across channels (in person, online, in writing) and able to form strong working relationships both in person and virtually.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Bonus (nice-to-have)

  • Familiarity with open source technology.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC.
  • Fluent in German (written and spoken).

  • OTE compensation range in Switzerland: CHF 164,000 - CHF 209,000. Actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset. Roles also include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
