Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company that builds the Grafana observability tools used by millions worldwide. The Commercial Account Executive (Acquisition) will prospect and close new business across the Central US region, articulating the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise and working closely with customers through trials and handoffs to Customer Success.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals
- Outbound prospecting into net-new customers and cultivate inbound leads
- Manage all aspects of the sales process: prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations
- Convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage sales pipeline and forecasts using Salesforce
- Create quotes, process orders, and handle day-to-day customer requests
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure technology sales
- Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a competitive environment (top performer preferred)
- Excellent communication skills across in-person, online, and written channels
- Energetic, entrepreneurial, tenacious team player, adaptable to high-velocity technology companies
- Experience using Salesforce and managing a sales pipeline in a CRM
- Must be located in Austin or Denver (role is remote-first but location requirement applies)
Bonus / Preferred
- Familiarity with open source technology
- Experience with sales methodologies such as Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC
Compensation & Rewards
- United States OTE (On-Target Earnings) range: $160,000 - $210,000 per year (actual compensation varies by level, experience, and skillset)
- Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) are included for all roles
- Compensation ranges are country specific; recruiters will discuss local pay ranges for applicants outside the listed locations
