The Opportunity

Grafana Labs is looking for a Commercial Account Executive, Acquisition to prospect and grow existing business across the ANZ region. You will identify, nurture, and close opportunities with existing customers, manage forecasts and track customer data, and use a consultative sales approach to learn about customer needs before discussing products. You will work through trial phases and hand off relationships to the Customer Success team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new opportunities within current customer accounts
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, meetings, demos, POCs, proposals, negotiations, and post-sale handover
  • Generate sales through outbound prospecting and respond to inbound leads
  • Articulate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise to technical and business stakeholders
  • Manage pipeline activity and sales performance using Salesforce
  • Handle quotes, order processing, and general customer requests

Requirements

  • Located in Sydney OR Melbourne, Australia
  • 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure technology sales
  • Proven top-tier performance (top 10%) in competitive environments
  • Tenacious, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset
  • Experience working in high-velocity tech companies
  • Excellent communication skills across in-person, virtual, and written channels
  • Salesforce fluency
  • Comfortable working remotely with global teams
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, consultative environment

Bonus / Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with open-source technology and observability tooling (Grafana ecosystem)
  • Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC methodologies
  • A technical background or experience selling technical products

Compensation & Rewards

  • OTE (On-Target Earnings) range in Australia: AUD 240,000 - AUD 265,000 (actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset)
  • Roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
  • Country-specific compensation ranges; recruiter will discuss market-specific pay if applying from a different location
