Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company whose products power observability for millions of users and thousands of companies worldwide. The Commercial Solutions Engineering team are customer-facing product experts who enable Grafana Labs' growth by educating potential and existing customers, delivering demos and technical evaluations, and partnering closely with Sales to qualify and close opportunities. This role combines technical product expertise, customer engagement, and content/enablement activities to drive customer success and feed product and engineering with customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Join a high-growth team working together to solve technical and customer problems
- Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy
- Own technical engagements with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
- Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations to potential and existing customers
- Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide product feedback and competitive insights
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems discovered during interactions
- Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public and internal enablement materials
Requirements
- Strong written and oral communication skills for collaborating with remote internal teams and worldwide customers
- Technical mindset and desire to grow technically; candidates may come from coding bootcamps, post-sales, or engineering backgrounds
- Ability to solve technical challenges and bring creative solutions to customers
- Self-motivated, initiative-taking, and collaborative, with strong judgment and leadership in a remote-first environment
- Willingness to work and collaborate with an international, remote-first team
Bonus / Nice to Have
- Experience with Open Source technologies
- Experience in the Metrics / Monitoring space
- Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC
Compensation & Rewards
- In the UK, the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is £96,000 - £115,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process.
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
