Reddit is a community of communities built on shared interests, passion, and trust. With 100,000+ active communities and approximately 116 million daily active unique visitors, Reddit is one of the internet’s largest sources of information. The Community Solutions Architect will join the Community Strategy and Insights team to design and optimize the technical ecosystem (including CRM) that enables community workflows at scale. This is a cross-functional role working with Corp Engineering, Product, Engineering, IT, Legal, and Community. The role is an immediate need to optimize CRM implementation and increase adoption and automation of critical community workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Technical program management: Own the long-term roadmap for the community tech stack and ensure tools (CRM, third-party platforms, automation layers) are integrated, scalable, and evolving ahead of operational needs.
  • CRM architecture & adoption: Act as the primary architect for the community CRM, ensuring data integrity, building custom objects, and creating seamless hand-offs between Community and Success teams; drive adoption for relationship-management use cases.
  • Scaled capacity & workflow design: Lead selection, vendor management, and rollout of new tools; design end-to-end workflows to bridge community engagement and business data with minimal technical debt.
  • Data strategy & insights: Partner with the Community team to define metrics for health, tiers, and growth; support and build data pipelines and dashboards that demonstrate program ROI to executive leadership.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Navigate stakeholders (CorpEng, Privacy, IT) to ensure community tools meet Reddit’s standards for security and user trust.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7–10+ years in Technical Program Management, Systems Architecture, or Community Operations, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
  • CRM mastery: Expert-level knowledge of CRM architecture and experience with tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot; ability to adapt CRMs for community workflows.
  • Product & data acumen: Experience speaking the language of engineers and data scientists; familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and CRM integrations.
  • Data tooling: Experience with or exposure to tools listed (Zendesk, Tableau, BigQuery, SQL) for reporting, dashboards, and pipelines.
  • Operational scrappiness: Ability to move between high-level strategy and hands-on implementation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear project plans for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits and income replacement programs
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Global benefit programs (workspace, professional development, caregiving support)
  • Family planning support and gender-affirming care
  • Mental health & coaching benefits
  • Flexible vacation & paid volunteer time off
  • Generous paid parental leave
