This Scope of Work (SOW) describes the responsibilities and deliverables for a Quality Assurance (QA) Test Lead supporting the Booking Conga CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) team. The Conga teams' vision is to enable Booking brands to deliver standardised and efficient contract management processes via the Conga CLM tool, improving efficiency and transparency of booking contracting processes.

Responsibilities

Deliver all QA/testing services to the Conga CLM development teams in Amsterdam and Bangalore for fortnightly sprints, large projects, system upgrades, and other Conga CLM enhancements.
Provide estimations of test effort during sprint refinements and sprint planning.
Prepare, document, execute, and organise QA testing for a Conga CLM development team of ~6 developers.
Actively participate in sprint cadence: refine and estimate user stories from a testing perspective, attend daily stand-ups, prepare sprint release notes, and lead/demo new functionality during sprint demos every fortnight.
Plan, document, and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for user stories; develop and maintain test scripts; execute scripts and provide formal test sign-off.
Plan, document & execute regression testing for Conga CLM and Salesforce platform upgrades; maintain an end-to-end regression test suite and record test evidence.
Raise, track, and manage defects, incidents, and test failures in Jira; work with developers to follow up on resolutions and retest fixes.
Continuously update and maintain SIT, UAT, and regression test scripts; enhance test coverage and optimize execution efficiency.
Prepare test plans for larger projects (e.g., onboarding new business units, integrations), develop UAT scripts, coordinate UAT execution, and support test progress tracking.
Provide standard Salesforce QA/Test Lead responsibilities: reporting on test progress, coverage, defect status, collaborating with BAs/developers/stakeholders, and supporting identification of automation opportunities and test automation strategy.

Requirements / Core Skills

Extensive Contract Lifecycle Management experience.
Extensive Conga CLM test experience (Apttus/Conga CLM, Conga Advanced Approvals).
Strong Salesforce testing experience (Classic and Lightning).
Experience with Mulesoft, DocuSign, API testing, AEM testing, and test script authoring.
Advanced Jira knowledge and other test management tool experience.
Advanced process-oriented knowledge of contracting and contracting processes.
Strong data migration test experience.
Strong communication skills; ability to liaise with stakeholders and present/demo functionality during sprint demos.
Ability to work independently and extensive prior experience as a QA Test Lead.

Deliverables

Test Plans: Minimum of 1 test plan per sprint cycle and 1 for each large-scale project (standard template).
Test Scripts: SIT and UAT test scripts for all user stories, documented in a shared repository (e.g., Confluence).
Regression Test Scripts: Suite for Conga and Salesforce upgrades, maintained in the shared repository.
Test Execution Reports: Weekly reports summarising execution progress, pass/fail rates, and coverage metrics.
Defect Logs: Daily updates to defect logs in Jira with detailed reproduction steps.
Test Sign-off Documentation: Formal sign-off documents for completed user stories and test cycles.
QA Documentation and Test Repository: Continuous updates to ensure materials are current and accessible.

Milestones

Active participation in sprint planning sessions (bi-weekly).
Completion of test scripts within 3 days of user story finalization.
Completion of SIT/UAT within the sprint cycle.
Completion of regression testing within 1 week of each Conga or Salesforce upgrade.
Weekly progress reports submitted every Friday.
Provide sprint demos and prepare sprint release notes every fortnight.

Acceptance Criteria

Effective participation in 100% of agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.
Completion of 95% of planned SIT, UAT, and regression tests with proper documentation within defined timelines.
Fewer than 5 post-release defects per sprint cycle.
Resolution of 90% of identified defects within 2 business days.
Maintenance of 100% of test assets with up-to-date information.
Provision of test services meeting the Conga CLM team standards.

Test Automation Scope

Identify opportunities for automation and collaborate with the development team to implement and maintain automated test scripts, with initial focus on automating regression suites for Conga and Salesforce.

Governance

Reports to the Conga CLM Engineering Manager and collaborates with the Conga CLM Product Manager, Technical Lead, and Development Team. Weekly status meetings will review progress and priorities.

Payrate

The payrate for independent contractors is 10-30 EUR/hr.
