NVIDIA is seeking a world-class engineer in conversational AI to join the AI for Games team. The team is developing next-generation gaming solutions enriched with AI Assistants, Actors, and Agents. This role focuses on productizing research and developing new features for conversational systems and generative AI applied to interactive experiences and games.
Responsibilities
- Use AI to solve product challenges in gaming and other interactive experiences.
- Build upon the latest research to create world-class conversational pipelines for AI assistants and agents.
- Enhance and fine-tune language models and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions for accuracy and performance.
- Create prototypes to demonstrate real-life applications and accelerate productization.
- Stay current with the latest AI/deep learning research and collaborate with diverse teams (internal and external), including AI/DL researchers, hardware architects, and software engineers.
- Participate in technology transfers to and from teams across NVIDIA.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Machine Learning, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of deep learning research or work experience with a focus on language models, AI assistants, and agents.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python, with the ability to write high-performance production code.
- Background with GPU programming, CUDA, and system optimizations is a significant plus.
- Experience with speech and computer vision AI modules (e.g., ASR, TTS, OCR) is a significant plus.
- Track record of research excellence demonstrated via presentations, demos, publications (e.g., GDC, ICCV/ECCV, SIGGRAPH) or significant software/product contributions.

- Base salary ranges provided: Level 3: $148,000 - $235,750 USD; Level 4: $184,000 - $287,500 USD.
