About BUUT

After the summer, ABN AMRO will launch neobank BUUT. This is not just any bank; it is created by the makers of Tikkie. BUUT is simple to use, interactive, visually driven, and designed specifically for teens and their parents in a way that fits the new generation. It offers everything you’d expect from a bank but with a unique Tikkie twist.

Your Mission at BUUT

As the CTO, you will be responsible for developing and executing BUUT's IT strategy aligned with business objectives. You will:

• Drive technical strategy and innovation initiatives across the organization
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Develop and implement scalable architecture solutions
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
• Foster partnerships with technology vendors and stakeholders

What We're Looking for in a BUUT Leader

You should be a visionary, servant leader inspiring your teams and fostering a culture of psychological safety. The ideal candidate:

• Has at least 5 years experience as Head of Technology, CTO, or CIO in FinTech or similar organizations
• Holds a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• Has a strong technical background in modern software architecture and engineering
• Expert in microservices, event-driven design, and emerging technologies
• Proven track record in building and leading high-performing technical teams
• Experienced with cloud technologies and serverless architectures
• Excellent in stakeholder management and communication
