As a member of Collibra’s Customer Engineering team, you will be the technical advisor and primary technical relationship owner for customers and prospects throughout the customer journey (pre- and post-sale). This hybrid role is based in the Raleigh, North Carolina office and requires in-office work at least two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely technical expertise on Collibra's products to customers, prospects, partners, and internal teams.
- Create and maintain lab environments and playbooks for successful technical demonstrations and evaluations by peers and partners.
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations that convey product messaging and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Install, configure, integrate, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues with enterprise software solutions and integrations.
- Collaborate with Product by giving early product feedback and sharing field observations and customer insights to improve competitive advantage.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a technical customer-facing role in enterprise software.
- Experience creating and delivering presentations and product demos to varied audiences.
- Experience installing, configuring, integrating, troubleshooting, and diagnosing enterprise software solutions.
- Knowledgeable about use cases, challenges, and technologies in data management, business intelligence, data science, and data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
Measures of success
- Within 1 month: clearly explain the value of the Collibra platform and understand key concepts and terminology.
- Within 3 months: present and demo the Collibra Platform (architecture and integration) with minimal support.
- Within 6 months: achieve a Collibra certification and be able to explain, present, set up, configure, and troubleshoot Collibra Platform integrations with external systems.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $104,000 - $130,000 per year.
- Eligible for additional commission-based compensation.
- Salary offers are based on experience, skills, and location.
- Additional compensation/benefits include equity ownership, bonus potential, a monthly Flex Fund stipend, and pension/401(k) plans.
