Details
At Eneco, the Analytics Platform team empowers the organization to become data- and metric-driven by building scalable, governed analytics capabilities. This role focuses on moving beyond dashboards to help build a next-generation, scalable (BI-as-code) analytics platform, standardize trusted metrics (OKRs and KPIs), and enable teams with the tools, governance, and knowledge to make data-informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Drive consistency and clarity in how business outcomes are measured; translate OKRs and KPIs into trusted, standardized metrics.
- Contribute to the future direction of the analytics platform, including exploration of BI-as-code and alternative visualization tools.
- Design and maintain centralized data models, semantic layers, and reporting standards to ensure consistent, governed metric definitions.
- Own governance, administration, and continuous improvement of the BI platform (capacity, workspace permissions, gateways, performance) and act as a primary point of contact for platform-related questions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, product teams, and external partners to align BI and analytics solutions with broader data infrastructure for scalability and reusability.
- Support and enable teams through training, documentation, and workshops to improve analytics adoption and data literacy.
- Support existing Power BI infrastructure while helping build a future-ready, code-first analytics environment.
Requirements
Must have:
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to KPI- and OKR-driven reporting.
- Professional experience using Power BI.
- Understanding of data modeling and performance optimization for analytics products.
- Experience supporting and enabling others with reporting and data literacy.
- Solid communication skills; able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with dbt or similar data modeling tools.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Power BI Premium.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Azure.
- Understanding of CI/CD and automation for BI tools (e.g., PowerShell, REST APIs).
- Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Looker) or BI-as-code environments.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban settings.
- Dutch language skills.
Where you’ll work
You will be part of the Analytics Platform team working closely with data engineers and data analysts who build and maintain foundational capabilities for the entire Eneco organization. You will also join the broader Eneco Data Analytics community to collaborate across value streams.
Benefits
- Gross annual salary between €82,000 and €116,000 (including FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance; depending on role a bonus or collective profit sharing).
