The expected salary for: senior specialist position: 7 100 - 14 500 PLN

Role summary

We are looking for someone who understands complex data and data structures and can act as a link between stakeholders providing data requirements and developers producing technical specifications. The role involves working in an international, collaborative environment focused on ALM (Asset and Liability Management) data and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work on both the business and IT side of ALM processes and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Understand complex data and ETL processes on the in-house data platform.
  • Support transformation and loading of finance data flows into QRM.
  • Monitor and maintain correctness of data flows.
  • Translate internal Risk/Finance data requests into actionable items and designs with the team.
  • Assist in the development of Data Quality controls and new data solutions for end-users.
  • Support reporting teams in development of data marts and reporting solutions in Power BI.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or data science in the banking sector (preferably ALM side).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL (must-have).
  • Knowledge and interest in ETL and data processes.
  • Familiarity with data management concepts such as data quality, data lineage, and data reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with data models and structures and experience in requirement gathering for data feeds.
  • Strong analytical skills, good communication, proactive attitude, and ability to work in international teams.

Extra points (preferred)

  • Experience in Asset and Liability Management or any Risk control / modelling function.
  • ALM Risk knowledge; understanding of a bank balance sheet and ability to connect data to ALM reporting outcomes.
  • Familiarity with ALM software (e.g., QRM, Fusion Risk, OneSumX, Moody’s Analytics).
  • Reporting skills, preferably in Power BI.
  • Master’s degree in econometrics, mathematics, economics, IT, or similar quantitative field.
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies.

Information about the squad / workplace

Dynamic international team of around 90 ALM specialists based in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Warsaw (Poland), and Manila (Philippines). This position is specifically located in Warsaw. ALM Project Teams operate in Agile teams including Market Risk Management, TECH Developers, ALM Data Experts, ALM Business Analysts, and QRM Experts. The global role naming will be "Data Management Expert II."
