Mission
WBAA TS Squad empowers Wholesale Bank's Transaction Service Business Unit with data expertise and analytic solutions, covering the entire Payments and Cash Management infrastructure for ING's international corporate clients. The 15-person cross-functional team develops scalable insights solutions to monitor Transaction Services global business and help over 300 internal users make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data using SQL and Python to generate business reports and statistics.
- Identify data trends and patterns for actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using PowerBI for clear stakeholder communication.
- Explore and evaluate data sources within different data systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, visualization, or statistics.
- Mandatory skills: SQL, Python (especially PySpark), data analytics and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Cognos, Superset), data reporting and statistics.
- Nice to have: experience with data pipelines, financial services analytics, understanding of Machine Learning/AI.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder alignment.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with large data volumes and produce actionable recommendations.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Masterβs degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, or Statistics.
