Our data centers, and the thousands of servers installed in them, are the foundation upon which our creative products and services are delivered. Our customer base consists of hundreds of deeply intelligent engineers who continually provide us with complex problems to be solved. We are looking for a highly motivated Data Center Engineer to join our team. Having depth and breadth knowledge of working in data center facilities in a large-scale distributed environment is a strength you'll need. You should have deep knowledge and experience in at least one of the following core areas: Project Management, Hardware Operations, Network Operations or Data Center Operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as technical liaison for our technical teams.
- Project manage highly impactful large and small scale data center and lab projects.
- Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware.
- Contribute to the development of the global DC knowledge base.
- Lead teams to deploy new data center infrastructure, deliver server upgrades, integration, rebuild and other projects as required.
- Build plans to optimize power, cooling, and network resources.
- Support all DC teams to reduce potential risks to upcoming projects; provide forward-thinking recommendations.
- Hunt for and resolve issues as well as analyze data looking for trends and systemic issues.
- Implement process improvements and develop a cutting edge operational environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in large-scale data center hardware deployments, building data centers and directly leading data center relocation projects.
- BS, BA, or BEng degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to understand internal customer problems and provide technical solutions in a timely manner.
- Demonstrable ability to prioritize effectively, and experience with technical project management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of customers and staff.
- Experience providing client-facing, direct customer support and service.
- Experience developing and reviewing MOPs and SOPs.
- Ability to work in a constantly evolving, hands-on, startup-like environment.
- Ability to make decisions and work with minimal direction; drive implementation and support other functions when needed.

- Deep understanding of data center power and cooling infrastructure, and of network and cabling infrastructure.
- Knowledge pertaining to liquid-cooled servers and/or its infrastructure.

- Attention to detail with superb interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

Compensation & Benefits
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 140,000 USD - 224,250 USD for Level 4, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 5. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
