NVIDIA needs a Senior Product Manager to drive NVIDIA's data strategy for generative AI, focusing on synthetic and curated data for large language and visual models. This role involves crafting the future of data building, refining, and deployment to advance frontier AI models. Working at the intersection of product, research, and engineering, the candidate will lead end-to-end data pipelines critical for safe, effective, and scalable GenAI systems. The work includes public data release, with a high impact on AI advancements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the generative data roadmap, defining and evolving strategy for synthetic, curated, and real-world data to train, fine-tune, and evaluate large-scale AI systems.
- Craft and lead data pipelines supporting model customization, alignment, and evaluation, including synthetic data generation, human-in-the-loop workflows, and reinforcement learning loops.
- Establish data quality frameworks involving coverage analysis, bias detection, adversarial testing, and ethical filtering.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to identify and remove data bottlenecks in model development.
- Define product requirements for internal tools supporting data collection, annotation, and augmentation at scale.
- Design workflows with enterprise customers for domain-specific LLM fine-tuning using synthetic or proprietary datasets.
- Drive initiatives on responsible data use covering fairness, visibility, and privacy in alignment with legal, compliance, and ethics teams.
- Lead cross-functional efforts with infrastructure, training, and deployment teams to ensure usability and scalability of data aligned with research goals.
- Build strategic partnerships with academic labs, data vendors, and open-source communities to expand access to diverse datasets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Over 8 years of experience.
- Proven product management or data platform leadership experience in ML/AI-focused roles at tech companies.
- Strong understanding of LLM architecture, training regimes, and alignment methods such as fine-tuning, RL, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Demonstrated track record running large-scale data projects or pipelines for machine learning applications.
- Deep familiarity with data-centric AI development from collection to evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills able to bridge research, engineering, and business.
- Proven ability to prioritize and deliver complex cross-functional projects.
Benefits
- Highly competitive salary (range: $168,000 - $258,750 USD).
- Equity and comprehensive benefits package.
- Work in a high-growth, innovative environment within one of the most desirable tech employers.
